70s Pop, Remixed

Warner Brothers has released a new remix album, What is Hip?, Volume 1. Old pop songs from their catalog, mostly from the 70s, remixed by modern artists. Best of all, for those try before you buy people, there’s a free player on their website.

With the strangely compelling sounds of Do Ya Think I’m Sexy remixed by Halou and Midnight at the Oasis remixed by Cuica, my workday soundtrack is set. If loving this is wrong, I don’t want to be right.

Yours truly,

Mr. X

If you think the “What is Hip” album is hot, then you ought to check out the stylings of Señor Coconut. Nothing’s better than salsa/merengue covers of Kraftwerk. Seriously.

Since blogger will not let me post anonymously, nor will they allow HTML, you’ll just have to search for the damned thing yourself.

Google is becoming the Starbucks of the internet. Bastards.

    Too. Freaking. Cool.

You should be able to use a, b (strong), and i (em) tags according to Blogger’s help page on the subject. PITA, but you get what you pay for, eh?

For the intrigued, Señor Coconut’s website. Looks like something new to add to my wishlist.

    Yours truly,
    Mr. X
